Award Ceremony

The Prize Giving and Award Ceremony will commence at 5pm.  Major Spot Prizes will be drawn from entrants at prize giving at 5pm. Competitors must be present to be eligible for merit and major spot prizes.

Men and Women

The first 3 across the line in the Rotorua Marathon, both male and female, will receive the following Training Awards.

1st: $3,000 plus trophy. 2nd: $2,000. 3rd: $1,000.

Age Group Awards

This includes: Male 16-34, then Masters 5 year age groups from 35-39 up to 80+ and Female 16-34, then Masters 5 year age groups from 35-39 up to 75+.
Walkers - Fastest Walking Prize

Prizes to the first three male and female Walkers' in each of the following grades (age as on race day) at prizegiving. Male and female 16-44 and male and female 45+.

Harrier Club Teams Race Competition (Marathon) - Men and Women

A team award prize will be awarded to the first club team for men & women in the marathon. Scoring shall be by the lowest aggregate of times recorded by the scoring members (3 fastest female members, 4 fastest male members). Team members must be fully registered members of their club and that club affiliated to Athletics New Zealand. 
Please note - To be eligible for the teams prize, each individual must state their club at the time of entering.
