| ||New Zealand Red Cross |
Our mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable people by mobilising the power of humanity and enhancing community resilience. Your support is a sign of hope. You'll help to meet immediate and longer term needs, whether it’s by providing relief to communities affected by disaster, sending international delegates overseas to assist those made vulnerable by conflict, or helping refugee families resettle in New Zealand. Working behind the scenes and in plain sight, everywhere, every day, New Zealand Red Cross is doing good. Wherever you are, we're right there too, helping people in vulnerable situations. You can join us and do good too by fundraising to ensure we're ready to respond to people in need.

MND New Zealand
MND New Zealand works with people living with motor neurone disease to enable them to have the best quality of life possible. Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is the name of a group of diseases that cause the death of the nerve cells (neurones) that control the muscles that enable us to move, speak, swallow and breathe. New Zealand has the highest known rate of MND in the world.
All over New Zealand, our support team members help people with MND access the right health services at the right time, provide up-to-date information, and offer both practical and emotional support.

Rotorua Community Hospice
You can support Rotorua Community Hospice!
You will help provide 24/7 care and support in the Rotorua community for anyone with a life limiting illness e.g. heart failure, motor neuron disease or cancer. We care for whānau and friends as well, both before and after death. Last year we made over 11,000 visits to patients and saw on average 115 patients per month.
Our goal is to help people make the most of their lives; to live every moment in whatever way is important to them. Run the marathon to live your every moment and support others to do the same!
Email Nicola at email@example.com if you have any questions.

We receive over 10,000 calls a month from people who are struggling with a wide range of issues including relationship and work problems, mental health, grief, abuse, bullying and loneliness. We help an average of 10 people a day at high risk of suicide.
We receive no government funding for these helplines and rely on public support like yours, so please do consider to ‘Race for Good’ for Lifeline.
670,000 New Zealanders currently have a diagnosis of arthritis. For many pain management is front of mind. Arthritis NZ is the national charity with the vision of ‘improving the life of every person affected by arthritis’ and we see ourselves as the go to organisation for advice and support on managing arthritis. Keeping joints mobile is imperative and while for some a marathon may seem a dream, for others it’s the gentle challenge to work towards. Most of us will have someone in our family or wider network who has arthritis. Perhaps you could participate in this amazing event and raise funds to support our work. We can provide you with an orange running/training shirt.

Diabetes New Zealand
It's time to turn the tide against diabetes!
Diabetes New Zealand is a charity who not only support and advocate for the staggering 257,000 adults and children currently living with diabetes across New Zealand, they also want to fight to ensure that diabetes claims no more victories in those who could have prevented it.
Your participation in the Rotorua Marathon means that those that need support and encouragement with managing this disease will receive it.
And because of you, even more Kiwis will hear our message about the warning signs of diabetes and most importantly, how to do something about their own health …today!
Dance & Arts Therapy NZ
Dance & Arts Therapy NZ is all about ‘moving creatively together’. Our kaupapa is to empower and support vulnerable communities in Aotearoa through dance movement and arts therapy. We focus particularly on ngā tangata with special needs and disabilities, at-risk tamariki from disadvantaged backgrounds and those struggling with sexual abuse-related trauma.
Your support will help to put paints and pastels in the hands of at-risk children; you’ll make it possible for children with Autism to be themselves without fear of judgement; and you’ll help to create a safe environment for adults with disabilities to feel valued as they are.
